Fourth Time's The Charm

We attempted a fourth visit with Santa.
Our first was on a train and she said no and frantically clung to me.
Our second was at a parade where we got a good glimpse of him but no time for a visit and just enough for the recognition.
Our third was at the mall. I had to sit with them and get some awful photos. She refused to sit alone.
Our fourth and final one we hit the jackpot. She had to be coaxed quite a bit and was taken up to him by Katie's dad, Thorsten but she did sit on his lap for a minute or two, alone. I even got a fake smile from her but it was so worth it. Katie did awesome too. She even told Santa that she wanted a camera for Christmas.
This place is actually a home all decked out with lights, huge blow ups, animations, trains, villages, trees and collections. Santa sat in his own little shed home while Mrs. Clause was in the main house. They charge nothing but did have a donation box. Just knowing that they did this out of the kindness of their hearts made you want to donate. Mrs. Clause said that last year, they saw 5300 people. I was so impressed with this place that I think perhaps we'll need to revisit it next year. They have been doing this for 13 years. All of the stuff comes down every year except for the entire room filled with a village and a few other shelves. Impressive!

What a great gift to the community!

Chani looks adorable on Santa's knee. I'm so happy when parent's let the kids take this lead on this rather than forcing them. Great job momma!!

(I don;t blame Chani - he looks a little scary!)

Hooray!!! You finally have your pic of Chani with Santa Claus!!! It is a cute one too!!! Be glad that you kept trying! I didn't try more than once last year and I regret it now. It is nice to have one every year to compare how they grow!!
Enjoy this Christmas with your sweet little one!!
