Our adventure to Chinatown

Yesterday, Lisa , Lisa and Maisie and I all took a little trip to our local Chinatown. I had been wanting just to go down and see what it was like and have some lunch. They have a nice little garden, complete with a small red bridge, inside of the complex. It would have a been a nice place to sit and relax if it had been a little warmer. They had a food court with several different places and another restaurant, a bakery, a couple of gift shops and a grocery store. We hit the grocery store last, after filling our bellies with lunch. I picked up some candies, cookies and some pretty soup bowls with spoons.

Here's a really cute picture of Maisie. (stolen from Lisa!)

We then headed back to Lisa & Maisie's to see some of her things she brought back from China. She has a box full of various items for Maisie when she gets older and some really great outfits for her too. Lisa also demonstrated how the hip hammock worked and gave us tons of tips for our own trips. Thank you Lisa.

I then headed home and showed Anna all my things that I got. Some of the cookies were actually from Taiwan and she was excited to see them. She knew exactly what they were and was a bit surprised that I found them.
